7950 lumens at 8000 K with 75 CRI

The lamp delivers 7,950 initial lumens at a correlated colour temperature of 8000 K and a CRI of 75, providing the cool-white output and punch required for tight beam effects in medium-to-large venues. Rated life is 3000 hours at the 189 watt operating point; the 1 mm arc gap and 34.5 mm working distance keep the focal point consistent with the fixture optics. Universal burning position and a 350 °C pinch temperature limit give installation flexibility, but output will gradually decline as the 3000-hour mark approaches.

Replaces 150-189W metal-halide lamps in 5R fixtures

This lamp replaces existing 150–189 watt single-ended metal-halide lamps in any 5R-class moving head that accepts a 57.1 mm overall length, 51.4 mm diameter bulb with a 34.5 mm working distance. The upgrade is worthwhile when the current lamp has reached its rated hours, shows colour shift or reduced output, or when a fixture is being relamped for a new production cycle requiring reliable 8000 K output. Fixtures outside the listed compatibility list or those requiring a different arc length, base type or wattage range are not supported.
