11.1.4 Channel Soundbar System

The JBL BAR-1300X-MK2 is an 11.1.4 channel soundbar system designed for immersive home theatre audio. It includes a main soundbar, a wireless subwoofer and detachable wireless rear speakers. The system supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding for object-based surround sound. It is built for residential use and connects via HDMI, Optical, Bluetooth, USB and Wi-Fi.

Ideal for Dedicated Home Cinema Rooms

This system suits viewers who want true atmospheric surround sound with overhead effects from up-firing drivers. The detachable rear speakers offer up to 10 hours of playtime for flexible placement without permanent wiring. Buyers who need a compact all-in-one bar or a simple stereo upgrade should look at smaller configurations. Those without space for a separate subwoofer and rear units will find this package impractical.

Detachable Speakers and App Control

The wireless rear speakers detach for portable Bluetooth use and recharge on the main bar. AI Sound Boost analyses content in real time to optimise clarity and impact. PureVoice 2.0 enhances dialogue clarity during loud scenes. The JBL ONE App handles calibration, settings and streaming service integration. HDMI eARC with 4K Dolby Vision passthrough simplifies connection to modern TVs.

Questions about this item

What TV connection do I need for the 4K Dolby Vision passthrough on the soundbar?

You need a TV with an HDMI eARC port to use the 4K Dolby Vision passthrough on the single HDMI output.

Can I connect my older TV using only an optical cable and still get surround sound?

Yes, the optical input supports audio from older TVs, though Dolby Atmos and DTS:X require the HDMI eARC connection for full bandwidth.

How do I confirm the wireless rear speakers are calibrated correctly after placement?

Run the Easy sound calibration via the JBL ONE App; it measures each speaker and adjusts levels for the 11.1.4 channel layout.
