Four-input 8K HDMI switch

This JCHICI switch connects four HDMI sources to one display and supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz. It handles HDR, 3D and HDCP 2.3 with a 48 Gbps bandwidth ceiling. A remote control and front-panel button give two ways to select the active input. The unit is designed for home-theatre and gaming setups that need to share a single screen.

Remote and auto-switching change daily use

The included infrared remote lets you change sources from the sofa, while the auto-switch function jumps to a newly powered-on device without button presses. LED indicators show which port is live. Compressed formats such as DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital pass through, as do lossless LPCM 5.1 and 7.1 streams for full surround sound.

Suited for multi-console or multi-PC owners.

Buyers who need to send one source to multiple displays should look elsewhere, as this is a 4-in-1-out selector only. Users with legacy cables longer than 1.5 metres may not achieve the highest resolutions. Anyone requiring HDMI 2.0 or earlier bandwidth limits will still benefit from backward compatibility down to 480p.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI 2.1 cables need replacement to keep 8K60 performance?

The supplier recommends certified HDMI 2.1 cables no longer than 2 metres for 8K60 or 4K120 signals; longer or uncertified cables can cause flicker or signal loss.

What bandwidth ceiling appears first when all four ports run 8K60 continuously?

The switch is rated for 48 Gbps total throughput, so sustained 8K60 on every input simultaneously reaches that limit before any thermal or protocol bottleneck.

Does the unit generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

The compact 5.0 × 0.4 × 2.0 inch enclosure has no fan; it runs passively and stays warm but silent under continuous load.
