4x4 HDMI Matrix Switch

The LUOM 4x4 HDMI Matrix Switch routes four HDMI sources to four displays independently. It handles 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz with 3D and YUV 4:2:0 support. Control is via front-panel buttons or the supplied IR remote. The unit is aimed at installers and AV enthusiasts who need flexible distribution in homes, retail spaces or presentation rooms.

4K@30Hz 10.2Gbps bandwidth

The switch passes video up to 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz within a 10.2 Gbps, HDMI 1.4 limit. Deep colour at 8 or 10 bits is supported. Source and display cables must stay under 8 metres using AWG26 HDMI 1.4 cable. Switching takes three to five seconds and is not seamless, so rapid source changes will show a brief blanking interval.

Replaces basic splitters and switchers

A single 4x4 matrix replaces separate splitter and switcher boxes when every display must show any source. The jump is worth it for multi-zone installations that need independent routing without EDID management. It is not suited for applications requiring 4K at 60 Hz, HDR, HDMI 2.0 bandwidth or seamless switching.
