7" Double-DIN Multimedia Receiver

The Jensen CAR714MW is a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen receiver designed for double-DIN dash openings. It delivers digital media playback without a disc mechanism and adds wired and wireless Apple CarPlay plus Android Auto for smartphone integration. Bluetooth handles hands-free calling and audio streaming with an included external microphone.

Installation Checklist

Verify that your dashboard accepts a standard double-DIN chassis before ordering. Plan wiring for the two rear USB ports rated at 2.1A, the rear RCA A/V input, and the two dedicated camera inputs. Six-channel preamp outputs at four volts front, rear, and sub require an external amplifier or powered speakers to be useful.

Best Fit and Alternatives

Suits drivers who want a modern smartphone-centric interface with high-resolution 1024 by 600 display, SiriusXM readiness, and multi-zone audio control via a 10-band EQ and seven presets. Not for buyers who need CD or DVD playback, a single-DIN form factor, or a built-in HD radio tuner.
