Emergency Mylar Thermal Blanket 4-Pack

This pack contains four aluminised polyethylene blankets sized 213.36 cm by 139.7 cm. Each sheet folds to a compact 0.01 cm thickness and weighs roughly 0.11 lb. They are designed for hikers, marathon runners, motorists and anyone assembling a bug-out or first-aid kit who needs lightweight personal insulation.

Build integration and storage

Every blanket is individually folded, wrapped and sealed so it slips into a glove box, backpack side pocket or seat pouch without adding bulk. The waterproof and windproof material doubles as a ground sheet or sun shade, freeing you from carrying separate tarps or bivvy sacks. No power source, fasteners or tools are required to deploy them.

Capacity and limits

The metallised surface reflects up to 90 % of radiated body heat, helping to stave off hypothermia and shock in cold, wet or windy conditions. Four blankets cover a family or a small group, but the thin polyethylene film will tear if snagged on sharp rocks or abrasive gear. They are not insulated sleeping pads and do not replace a rated sleeping bag for extended sub-zero exposure.
