65 ft Cat8 S/FTP Ethernet Cable

This 65 ft Cat8 network cable uses 26 AWG solid copper conductors and double shielding to deliver bandwidth up to 2000 MHz and speeds up to 40 Gbps. Gold plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contact with routers, modems, PCs, consoles and smart home devices. The UV resistant PVC jacket is rated for direct burial and withstands sunlight, humidity and temperature extremes.

Ideal for Long Outdoor Runs and High Throughput

The heavier 26 AWG gauge suits installers who need a durable cable for outdoor routing, direct burial or long indoor distances where signal integrity matters. It supports demanding applications such as 4K streaming, cloud servers and gaming at hyper speed. Buyers who only need a short patch lead for a desk connection or who require a thinner, more flexible cable for tight cable management should consider a different gauge.

Verify Connector Clearance and Routing Path

Confirm that the shielded RJ45 plugs fit the ports on your switches, patch panels or consoles without blocking adjacent jacks. Plan the 65 ft route to avoid sharp bends or crushing forces that could damage the shielding. Ensure both ends remain accessible for future testing or replacement.

Questions about this item

What type of RJ45 port does my device need for the gold plated connectors on this Cat8 cable?

The cable uses standard shielded RJ45 connectors compatible with networking switches, routers, modems, gaming consoles, smart TVs, IP cameras, patch panels and servers.

Will this 26AWG Cat8 cable work with my existing Cat6 or Cat5e patch panel and router?

Yes, it is backwards compatible with Cat7, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 devices so it will connect to older patch panels and routers without issue.

How can I verify the link is running at the full 2000 MHz bandwidth after I bury the 65 ft run?

Check the negotiated link speed in your router or switch interface; a 40 Gbps connection confirms the 2000 MHz bandwidth is active on the 26AWG conductors.
