Electronic probe traces cables and wires, detects tone and polarity with any generator and telephone jacks
The Jonard TEP-200 is a solid-state tone tracing probe designed for cable and wire pair identification. It provides tone detection and polarity indication for technicians working with telecommunications infrastructure. The probe operates with any compatible tone generator and connects via 6P2C or 4P2C telephone jacks.
This speaker probe traces cable paths and identifies wire pairs through audible tone detection. It is not suited for installers who require integrated tone generation or continuity testing functions. The tool carries a Proposition 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm. Compatible with standard tone generators only.
