Four Weight Bags for Canopy Stability

A set of four empty weight bags designed to anchor pop-up canopies, instant shelters and patio umbrellas. Each bag accepts sand, rock or dirt up to 45 lbs (20.5 kg) for a combined 192 lbs of ballast. Made from waterproof 1680D polyester with PVC coating rated 300% stronger than typical market alternatives. Hook-and-loop straps wrap around canopy legs and a rugged nylon carry handle aids transport.

Buyers Needing Reliable Tie-Downs

Suits anyone securing a 10×10 canopy at markets, festivals, tailgates or the beach where wind gusts are a concern. The Velcro-sealed opening avoids broken zippers and double-stitched seams resist tearing under load. Not for buyers who want pre-filled weights, steel plates or a single heavy bag instead of four separate units. Also unsuitable if your canopy legs lack a strap attachment point.

1680D PVC-Coated Fabric Strength

The 1680D polyester with PVC coating is the decisive spec; it delivers the claimed 300% strength advantage over common bags and withstands repeated outdoor exposure. Each bag measures 9.5 × 9 × 2.99 inches and weighs 1.302 kg empty. Maximum fill per bag is 45 lbs (20.5 kg) or 48 lbs depending on loading method, giving 192 lbs total across the set.

Questions about this item

How do I know the 1680D bags are holding the 45 lb (20.5 kg) fill correctly after setup?

Each bag has two hook-and-loop straps that wrap around the canopy leg; when the straps are snug and the bags sit level, the weight is properly secured.

What comes in the box and what must I supply?

The set includes four empty 1680D polyester weight bags with carry handles and hook-and-loop straps; you must provide sand, rock or dirt to reach up to 48 lbs per bag.

Which capacity should I choose for a standard 10x10 canopy?

The 192 lb set (four bags at up to 48 lbs each) matches the typical 10x10 canopy requirement and provides the full 192 lb total listed.
