MFi Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Adapter

The JSAUX Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Adapter connects wired headphones to Apple devices that lack a built-in jack. It carries Apple MFi certification, guaranteeing full compatibility with iPhone models from the 7 through the 14 series, plus iPod touch 6th generation and Lightning-equipped iPad models running iOS 10.3.1 or later.

Sustained-use durability and signal quality

A strain-relief design survives more than 15000 bend cycles in laboratory testing, while the aluminium housing and nylon-braided cable resist wear during daily carry. The adapter maintains a 48KHz sampling rate and filters noise, delivering consistent audio quality over long listening sessions without drop-outs or error messages.

Lightning interface limits

The female 3.5mm port works with virtually any analogue headphone, earphone or audio cable, preserving in-line volume, playback and call controls as well as Siri access. It does not function with 2018 iPad Pro 11-inch or 12.9-inch models, the 2021 iPad Mini, or any device that uses a USB-C connector instead of Lightning.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter generate noticeable heat or drain the iPhone battery during all-day listening?

The adapter draws minimal power from the Lightning port and has no active components that produce heat, so it will not warm up or meaningfully affect battery life during extended use.

What must I already own for this adapter to work with my headphones?

You need an Apple device with a Lightning port running iOS 10.3.1 or later, plus any headphones or earphones that use a standard 3.5mm plug.

Will inline controls and microphone on my older 3.5mm headset still function through this adapter?

Yes, the MFi-certified adapter passes through volume adjustment, track skip, call answer and Siri activation exactly as a native Lightning headset would.
