Airline Tycoon 2 Falcon Airlines DLC

This downloadable content expands Airline Tycoon 2 with a new playable character and two additional campaign missions. It adds the ability to open branch offices in foreign airports for access to more charter flights. The DLC is delivered as a Steam code and requires the base game to play.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

Simulator fans who already own Airline Tycoon 2 on Steam and want extra single-player scenarios will benefit. Players without the base game cannot use this code. Buyers in blocked regions such as RU or UA cannot activate it. Those seeking multiplayer modes or modern graphics will not find them here.

Steam DRM and Windows XP to 7 Requirement

Activation uses Steam DRM and is restricted to supported countries. The software runs on Windows XP, Vista or 7 with a 3 GHz Pentium D or Athlon 64 3000+ CPU, 1 GB memory and a Geforce 8600 GT or Radeon X 1800 video card with DirectX 9.0c.

Questions about this item

Does the Falcon Airlines DLC add any background load that changes power draw or heat on a Windows XP/Vista/7 system?

The DLC runs inside the main Airline Tycoon 2 game, so it adds no separate process; power and heat stay exactly what the base game already produces on your OS.

What must I already own and have installed before the 29770 code will activate on Steam?

You need the full Airline Tycoon 2 game on the same Steam account, plus a Steam client on Windows XP, Vista or 7 with DirectX 9.0c.

Will the DLC work if I keep my GeForce 8600 GT or Radeon X 1800 video card?

Yes — those cards meet the listed video-memory requirement, so the Falcon Airlines content will run on the same hardware that runs the base game.
