Tropico 6 Going Viral DLC

This downloadable expansion adds pandemic-themed content to the base strategy game Tropico 6. Players receive a Steam code to activate the DLC, which introduces new buildings and mechanics focused on disease management. The expansion requires the original Tropico 6 on Steam to function. Published by Kalypso Media and developed by Realmforge Studios, it released on October 12, 2023.

For Tropico 6 owners seeking new scenarios

This DLC suits players who already own Tropico 6 on Steam and want fresh challenges involving healthcare infrastructure and population control. It is not for buyers who do not possess the base game, as the expansion cannot run independently. Buyers without a Steam account or those in blocked regions listed in the specifications cannot activate the code. The content adds strategic depth rather than a standalone experience.

Steam activation and base game required

The single specification that decides compatibility is the requirement for Tropico 6 on Steam. The product delivers a digital code redeemable only through the Steam platform on PC. A 64-bit Windows operating system is also necessary to meet the minimum system requirements. Without the base game installed and a valid Steam account, the DLC code cannot be used.
