Kastar 2-Pack NP-FP50/51 Battery & AC Charger

This set includes two lithium-ion batteries rated at 1200mAh and 7.4V plus a foldable-plug AC wall charger. It suits owners of compatible Sony Handycam models who need spare power for extended recording sessions.

Easy drop-in replacement with foldable-plug charger

Each battery slides into the camcorder exactly like the original NP-FP50 or NP-FP51 unit. The charger accepts 100-240V input and shows a red LED while charging and green when the cell is full. A common issue is inserting the battery backwards; the keyed contacts prevent damage but will not charge until oriented correctly.

Verify your camcorder model before ordering

The pack works with the listed Sony DCR and HDR series such as DCR-HC85, DCR-HC94, DCR-HC96 and HDR-HC3. It also replaces Sony BC-TRP, BC-VH1 and AC-VQH10 chargers. Buyers whose camcorder uses a different NP-F series or a proprietary lithium-polymer pack cannot use these batteries.
