Replacement Kit for Sony Cyber-Shot Cameras

This kit supplies three lithium-ion batteries and a compact AC wall charger for older Sony Cyber-Shot models including the DSC-P100, DSC-P150, DSC-P200, DSC-T30 and DSC-T50 series. It restores power to cameras that use the NP-FR1 cell and BC-CS3 or BC-CSD chargers. Photographers maintaining these legacy compacts receive a complete spare-power solution in one package.

1250 mAh Li-Ion Cells at 3.6 V

Each battery delivers 1250 mAh at 3.6 V for a nominal 4.5 Wh capacity, matching the original Sony NP-FR1 specification. The charger accepts 100 to 240 V AC input and provides 4.2 V DC at 600 mA output with a foldable flat plug for easy storage. A red LED shows charging and a green LED signals standby or full charge.

Powers Typical Shooting Sessions

Three cells give enough combined capacity for extended day trips or events without relying on a single battery. The 600 mA charge rate replenishes a depleted pack in a few hours, so overnight charging readies all three units. Users needing higher capacity cells or faster multi-bay charging will find this kit does not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

How long will one 1250 mAh NP-FR1 battery last in my camera?

Run time depends on the camera model and how you shoot; the 1250 mAh / 4.5 Wh rating is the energy the cell stores, not a fixed minutes figure.

Does the charger handle UK mains voltage and what current does it deliver?

The charger accepts AC 100–240 V 50–60 Hz and outputs DC 4.2 V at 600 mA, so it works on UK mains with a suitable plug adapter.

Will the three batteries and charger fit in a small camera bag?

The kit measures 3 × 2 × 3 inches overall, and the foldable flat plug keeps the charger profile slim for tight compartments.
