Three-Pack Replacement Kit

This Kastar kit supplies three LP-EL lithium-ion batteries and a single AC wall charger for Canon Speedlite EL-1 and EL-5 flash units. It is aimed at photographers who need spare power for extended shoots or backup during events. The pack replaces Canon LP-EL and 4307C002 cells.

2600 mAh at 7.2 V

Each battery delivers 2600 mAh capacity at 7.2 V, matching the 18.72 Wh rating of the original Canon pack. This capacity figure is the key specification that determines whether the kit meets the runtime needs of a specific flash workload.

AC 100–240 V Input Charger

The included charger accepts AC 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz and outputs DC 8.4 V at 600 mA. A foldable flat plug aids storage. LED indicators show red while charging and green when the batteries reach full charge or standby.

Questions about this item

How long will the 2600 mAh LP-EL battery run my Speedlite EL-1 between charges?

The 7.2 V 2600 mAh cells store 18.72 Wh, giving roughly the same flash count and recycle speed as the original Canon LP-EL pack in the EL-1 or EL-5.

What does the charger’s 100–240 V AC input and 8.4 V 600 mA DC output mean for everyday use?

It plugs into any mains supply from 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz and charges one LP-EL battery at 8.4 V 600 mA, with a red LED while charging and green when full.

Will the foldable-flat-pin charger and three batteries fit in my camera bag alongside the flash?

The whole set measures 3 by 2 by 3 inches, so the compact charger and three LP-EL cells sit easily in a standard flash pouch or camera bag pocket.
