Three batteries and dual-slot charger for Canon EL

This pack supplies three 7.2 V 2600 mAh lithium-ion cells plus an LTD2 charger that powers two batteries at once from any 5 V USB source. The charger accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input up to 15 W and shows charge level on an integrated LCD. Each cell stores 18.72 Wh and fits the LP-EL form factor used by Canon Speedlite EL-1 and EL-5 units.

Photographers who need spare power for EL-1

The kit suits shooters who want multiple ready cells and the flexibility to charge from power banks, laptop ports or wall adapters without a dedicated AC charger. It is not for users whose flash uses a different battery shape or voltage, nor for anyone requiring simultaneous charging of more than two cells at a time.

Two-bay USB charging with LCD status readout

The LTD2 charger delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA per bay and can operate both bays together, drawing up to 15 W from a 5 V supply. This specification decides whether the kit matches a workflow that relies on USB power rather than mains-only chargers.

Questions about this item

How do I know the charger is working correctly once I connect it?

The LCD screen shows real-time charging status and battery capacity for each slot, so you can confirm both batteries are receiving 8.4 V at 800 mA.

What items are included and is anything else needed to start charging?

The pack contains one LTD2 dual-slot charger, three LP-EL 2600 mAh Li-Ion batteries and a Micro-USB cable; add any 5 V 2-3 A USB power source to begin charging.

Should I choose the three-battery pack or buy single batteries for my EL-5 flash?

The three-back bundle matches the EL-5’s 7.2 V 18.72 Wh requirement and lets you keep two batteries charging while one powers the flash.
