This Kastar AC wall charger replaces the original Sony power supply for a long list of Handycam and Cyber-shot models. It accepts the NP-FM30, NP-FM50, NP-FM55H, NP-QM50, NP-QM51, NP-FM70, NP-FM71, NP-QM71, NP-QM71D, NP-FM90, NP-FM91, NP-QM91 and NP-QM91D battery packs. The unit is aimed at owners of legacy camcorders who need a compact mains charger.

Foldable flat plug and universal voltage

The foldable flat pins lie flush against the body so the charger slides into a gear bag without snagging. Input voltage covers 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz, so it works on household mains worldwide without a separate transformer. Output is fixed at 8.4 volts and 600 milliamps, matching the spec of the original Sony BC-VM50, BC-VM10 and BC-V615 chargers.

LED status and steady trickle charge
