Battery and charger kit

This Kastar kit supplies one lithium-ion BP-727 battery and a matching AC wall charger. It is built for owners of compatible Canon VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders who need a spare power source for long shoots or travel. The pack replaces both the original battery and the Canon CG-700 charger in a single purchase.

11.84 Wh capacity and charging limits

The battery stores 11.84 Wh at 3.7 V, rated at 3200 mAh, giving extended recording time on supported models. The wall charger accepts 100–240 V input and delivers 4.2 V at 600 mA, with a red LED while charging and green when full. Its foldable flat plug makes storage compact, but the fixed charge rate means a depleted cell takes several hours to reach capacity.

Replaces Canon BP-709 BP-718 and CG-700

This set directly substitutes for Canon BP-709, BP-718 and US 6055B002 batteries plus the CG-700 charger across the listed VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original battery no longer holds a charge or when a second battery and charger are needed for multi-day events. It does not serve cameras outside the compatibility list or users requiring faster charging speeds.
