Quadruple Charger for Canon VIXIA Camcorders

This Kastar BP-808 unit charges up to four compatible lithium-ion batteries simultaneously. It accepts Micro-USB and USB Type-C power inputs and includes a Type-C cable. An integrated display shows charging status and remaining capacity for each bay. The charger measures 3.5 by 2 by 2.5 inches.

For Owners of Multiple Canon BP-Series Packs

Videographers using VIXIA HF M40, M41, M46, M400, M406, S10, S11, S20 or S21 models can keep four BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 cells ready at once. The single 15-watt input limits combined output when all four bays are occupied. Users who need faster per-cell rates or mains-powered operation should consider alternative charging solutions.

Dual Input with 8.4-Volt Output

Each bay delivers 8.4 volts at 800 milliamps for one or two batteries, dropping to 500 milliamps when three or four are charging. This output specification determines whether the charger matches the required recharge speed for your workflow.

Questions about this item

Will the charging plates for the BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 batteries need replacing later?

The charger accepts interchangeable plates for those Canon batteries; plates are mechanical parts that can wear after repeated swaps.

What limits the charge speed when all four slots are filled?

Output drops to 500mA per slot with three or four batteries, so total current is shared across the bays.

How much heat or noise does the charger produce during all-day use?

The compact 3.5*2*2.5 inch unit has no fan; it runs silently and warm only at the 15W input rating.
