Quadruple USB charger for Canon BP-809/819/827

This Kastar charger powers up to four Canon BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 batteries simultaneously. It suits videographers who run multiple VIXIA camcorders and need all spares ready before a shoot. The unit replaces the single-bay Canon CG-800 and works with the extensive model list supplied.

Plug in via Micro-USB

Connect the included Type-C cable to any 5 V 2–3 A source, insert the batteries and the intelligent display shows individual charging status and capacity. The only common issue is using an under-powered USB port, which drops the output to 500 mA per bay when three or four cells are loaded.

8.4 V 800 mA per bay for one or two batteries

The charger delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA when one or two batteries are fitted, falling to 500 mA each with three or four. If your workflow demands the higher current on every bay at once, this unit cannot meet that need.
