Quadruple USB charger for Canon VIXIA batteries

The Kastar BP-827 charges up to four compatible Canon BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 batteries simultaneously. It targets videographers who run multiple VIXIA camcorders and need all packs ready before a shoot. The unit ships without batteries, so users supply their existing cells.

Micro-USB and Type-C inputs with swappable plates

The charger draws 5 V at 2–3 A from either a Micro-USB or USB-C source, and a Type-C cable is included. Interchangeable plates let the same dock handle different battery form factors, freeing the user from carrying several dedicated chargers. No AC adapter is bundled, so a suitable USB power source must be provided.

8.4 V output at 800 mA for one or two cells

When charging one or two batteries the charger delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA per slot; with three or four cells the current drops to 500 mA each. An intelligent display shows individual charging status and remaining capacity. The 15 W input limit means full recharges take longer when all four bays are occupied.
