Two-battery pack with foldable wall charger

This Kastar FNP-120 kit supplies two lithium-ion batteries and a compact AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. Each cell delivers 3.7 volts and 2300 milliampere-hours for 8.51 watt-hours of capacity. The charger accepts 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz and outputs 4.2 volts at 600 milliamperes. A red LED shows charging and a green LED shows standby or full charge.

Fits a travel-ready power setup

The foldable flat plug lets the charger pack flat in a bag and plugs directly into any 100 to 240 volt outlet without a separate cable. Two batteries allow one to charge while the other shoots, removing downtime on long days. The 600 milliampere output replenishes each 2300 milliampere-hour cell in a few hours. Users needing higher capacity cells or a multi-bay desktop charger will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Does the Kastar FNP-120 pack include everything needed to charge both batteries, or must a separate power cable be purchased?

The pack contains one AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug and two batteries, so no extra cable is required.

Should I choose this 2300 mAh version or a higher-capacity alternative for my FinePix F10?

This model is rated at 2300 mAh and 8.51 Wh; no higher-capacity version is listed for the compatible cameras.

What does the 8.51 Wh rating mean for actual shooting time in a Pentax Optio 550?

The 8.51 Wh capacity delivers the same energy as the original D-LI7, giving comparable shots per charge.
