Dual USB Charger for Canon LP-EL

The Kastar LP-EL LTD2 charges two Canon LP-EL lithium-ion packs simultaneously. It accepts power through either Micro-USB or USB Type-C inputs, making it suitable for photographers who need to replenish flash batteries while travelling or working on location.

Sustained Charging Behaviour

Each bay delivers a steady 8.4 V at 800 mA whether one or two batteries are inserted. The 15 W input limit means the charger maintains this rate continuously without throttling, so both cells reach full capacity at the same pace as a single pack.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

Passive cooling keeps the unit silent during operation. The charger draws up to 15 W from a standard 5 V USB source, generating only modest warmth that remains comfortable to handle throughout a full dual-battery cycle.
