Kastar LTD2 Dual USB Charger

The Kastar LTD2 is a compact dual-slot charger designed for Canon BP-727 and compatible lithium-ion batteries. It serves owners of VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders who need to charge two packs simultaneously from a single USB source.

Simple USB setup with LCD status

Plug the included Micro-USB cable into any 5 V 2–3 A power adapter or Type-C port, insert up to two batteries, and the built-in LCD shows real-time charging progress. The only common issue is using an under-powered USB port that cannot supply the required current, which slows or halts charging.

Charges two BP-727 packs at 800 mA each

Each slot delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA, so a pair of typical camcorder batteries reaches full capacity in a few hours. The charger has no internal battery and cannot operate away from a USB power source, limiting its use to locations with mains or power-bank access.
