Dual-bay USB charger for Canon BP series

The Kastar LTD2 is a compact dual-bay charger that powers two Canon BP-727, BP-718, BP-709 or BP-708 batteries simultaneously. It accepts 5 V 2–3 A input via Micro-USB or USB-C and delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA per slot. An integrated LCD shows real-time charging status and remaining capacity for each cell.

Videographers with multiple BP packs

This unit suits shooters who carry several compatible batteries and want to replenish both at once from a single USB power source. It is not for users who need to charge larger cinema-style batteries, proprietary packs outside the listed BP range, or devices that require AC mains input without an adapter.

Two-bay capacity with USB convenience

The charger comfortably handles a pair of BP-727 or equivalent packs, restoring both to full capacity in parallel. Headroom ends at two cells; a third battery must wait for a free slot. Output is fixed at 800 mA per channel, so very high-capacity packs will charge more slowly than with a dedicated high-current supply.
