Check battery model and USB power

Verify that your batteries are Canon BP-709, BP-718 or BP-727 (or the US 6055B002 equivalent) before ordering. Ensure your power bank, wall adapter or laptop port can deliver 5 V at 2–3 A so the charger can reach its rated 15 W input.

Interchangeable plates and bundled Micro-USB cable

Swappable plates let the same dock handle all three battery types without extra hardware. An LCD panel shows charge status and capacity for each slot. A Micro-USB cable is included for immediate use, while the Type-C port remains available for newer power sources.

Questions about this item

Does the Kastar LTD2 come with any batteries or only the charger unit?

The pack contains one charger only; no Canon BP-709, BP-718 or BP-727 batteries are included, so you must supply them separately.

Which battery models can I charge with the interchangeable plates on this LTD2 unit?

The charger accepts Canon BP-709, BP-718 and BP-727 batteries, covering the VIXIA HF R30 through R800 and LEGRIA HF M36 through M306 camcorders listed.

What does the 800 mA output figure mean when I slot two batteries into the charger at once?

Each bay delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA simultaneously, so two batteries charge at the same rate without splitting the current.
