Video creators and travel photographers

Video creators and travel photographers who use compatible Sony models will appreciate having four ready-to-swap batteries and a single charger that works worldwide. Users whose cameras require a different battery form factor or a higher capacity cell should look at alternative power solutions that match their specific device requirements.

8.88 Wh capacity per battery

Every battery in the kit is rated at 8.88 watt-hours, which determines how long a single charge will last on your camcorder or camera. The charger outputs 8.4 volts at 600 milliamps and uses a red LED for charging status and a green LED when the battery is full or on standby.

Questions about this item

The charger accepts 100-240V 50-60Hz mains power, so it works worldwide with only a plug adapter for the foldable flat pin.

What are the physical dimensions of each NP-FH50 battery?

Each battery measures 3 by 2 by 3 inches, matching the original Sony NP-FH50 form factor for direct slot insertion.

How do I insert the batteries into the charger correctly?

Align the battery contacts with the charger terminals and slide it in until it clicks; the LED shows red while charging and green when full.
