Bluetooth Thermometer Alarm

The KeeKit Bluetooth Thermometer Alarm monitors temperature and humidity in refrigerators, freezers, fish tanks and similar environments. A slim probe on a sturdy cable connects to a main unit that pairs with a smartphone app for remote alerts. It suits homeowners, aquarium keepers and anyone needing wireless monitoring in cold or wet spaces.

Wireless Range and Accuracy Limits

The Bluetooth link works up to 50 metres in open areas, so walls or metal enclosures will reduce the practical distance. The probe measures from -40°C to 65°C (-40°F to 150°F) with an accuracy of .5°C or 1°F and refreshes every two seconds. Readings outside this range or in heavily shielded locations cannot be transmitted reliably.

Build and Mounting Practicalities

The black main unit includes a magnetic back and a lanyard hole for flexible placement on metal surfaces or hooks. A dedicated probe holder secures the cable and reduces clutter inside appliances. The LCD screen shows current values directly on the device, while the app stores historical curves and MAX/MIN records for later review.

Questions about this item

Which version should I pick if I need to monitor both a freezer and a fish tank?

The single black model includes a magnetic holder and lanyard, so the same probe can be secured inside a freezer or suspended in a fish tank, pool or hot tub.

What does the -40 °C to 65 °C range with ±0.5 °C accuracy mean for daily use?

It covers deep-freeze storage up to hot-tub temperatures and refreshes every 2 seconds, letting you spot a failing compressor or an overheating spa quickly.

How far does the Bluetooth link reach and what limits it?

The wireless range is 50 metres in open air; walls, metal doors or water will reduce the practical distance, so keep the phone or gateway within clear line of sight for reliable alerts.
