20-Pack RJ45 Pass Through Connectors

DIY installers and IT pros

The pass-through design helps hobbyists and technicians achieve consistent terminations without specialised tooling. Buyers who need shielded plugs, outdoor-rated jackets or bulk quantities beyond twenty pieces should look at other options.

Gold-plated 8P8C contacts

Gold plating on the 8P8C contacts reduces signal loss for reliable high-speed data transfer. This finish is the deciding factor when choosing connectors for gigabit Ethernet runs.

Questions about this item

Do the gold-plated 8P8C contacts generate any heat or noise when the cable runs all day?

The connectors are passive components with no active electronics, so they produce no heat or noise during continuous operation.

What tools or cable types must I already have to use these RJ45 pass-through plugs?

You need a pass-through compatible crimping tool and either solid or stranded UTP cable rated Cat 5 or Cat 6.

Will these Cat 6 connectors work with the older Cat 5e patch cables I already have installed?

Yes, the plugs are specified for both Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables, so they terminate your existing Cat 5e runs without issue.
