Two-cable set for 12 V DC devices
This pack contains two USB-C to 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm power cables, each 100 cm long. They convert a USB Power Delivery charger into a fixed 12 V output for routers, LED strips, CCTV cameras, speakers and similar equipment. A built-in PD smart chip negotiates the required voltage automatically. The cables are male-to-male and also fit 5.5 mm × 2.5 mm jacks.
Power delivery limits in daily use
Each cable supports a maximum of 60 W and delivers up to 12 V at 3 A. The source charger must provide at least 12 V PD output and its rated power should exceed the connected device’s draw. The supplier notes the cable is compatible with supplies below 36 W; higher-wattage adapters may trigger overload protection. No data transfer is possible through these cables.
Behaviour under sustained load
The output voltage is fixed at 12 V and cannot be changed to 9 V, 15 V or 20 V. Because the cable only passes power, it does not generate heat itself; thermal performance depends entirely on the PD charger and the powered device. Continuous operation is stable as long as the charger maintains the negotiated 12 V contract and the load stays within the 3 A limit.

Questions about this item
How do I install the 5.5×2.1 mm DC plug on my router, and what step do people get wrong?
Connect a USB-C PD charger that supplies 12 V, then insert the 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm male plug into the router's DC jack; the common mistake is using a 5 V or 9 V charger instead of a 12 V PD source.
What maintenance or replacement will the cable need later?
The cable has no moving parts; inspect the USB-C and 5.5×2.1 mm connectors for bent pins or frayed insulation after extended use and replace the cord if the jacket cracks.
What limit appears first during sustained 12 V 3 A operation?
The built-in PD chip is rated for 36 W maximum, so continuous 12 V 3 A loads will hit that 36 W ceiling before the 60 W cable rating becomes relevant.
