Audio adapter for laptops and consoles

The KEHIPI 30724 USB Audio Adapter adds dual 3.5 mm TRS ports for headphones and a microphone through a single USB-A connection. It supports 16-bit 48 kHz output with a built-in DAC chip and requires no drivers on Windows 11, 10, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Linux, macOS, PS5, PS4, Chromebook, Surface Pro 3 or Raspberry Pi. Plug-and-play operation suits gaming, calls and streaming.

Compact ABS housing with in-line headset controls

The black ABS body measures 5.0 in x 3.0 in x 5.0 in and weighs .04 lb, so it stays unobtrusive on a desk or in a laptop bag. Two 3-pole 3.5 mm female sockets accept standard TRS headsets, and volume adjustment remains available via the headset's own in-line controls. The USB-A male plug draws power directly from the host device.

Check headset plug type and PS3 exclusion

This adapter only supports TRS 3-pole 3.5 mm connectors; headsets with TRRS 4-pole or separate USB plugs will not work. The PS3 USB port does not carry audio, so the device is incompatible with that console. Verify that your headset uses separate 3.5 mm headphone and microphone plugs before ordering.
