USB-C PD trigger module set
The pack contains three compact boards that request fixed voltages from any USB-C Power Delivery source. Makers, repair technicians and hobbyists can use them to power 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V projects without a dedicated supply. Each module measures 11 × 25.7 mm and fits on a breadboard or inside a small enclosure.
Sustained-load behaviour
Rated for up to 100 W, the modules maintain the selected voltage continuously as long as the attached charger can deliver the current. Over-temperature and over-voltage protection circuits intervene if the source or load exceeds safe limits. The dip-switch configuration remains stable during extended operation, so the output does not drift under load.
Thermals, noise and power draw
No active cooling is present, so the boards run silently and add negligible acoustic noise to a build. Power consumption is limited to the charger’s own overhead plus the protection circuitry. The ABS housing stays cool during typical use because the modules only negotiate voltage and pass current without conversion losses.

Questions about this item
How much heat or power draw should I expect when the trigger board runs continuously at 20 V output?
The module supports up to 100 W and includes over-temperature and over-voltage protection, so sustained operation at the selected voltage stays within those limits.
What must I already have to use these trigger boards with a USB-C power source?
You need a USB-C PD charger or power bank that can negotiate 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V, plus a device that accepts the chosen fixed voltage via the board’s output terminals.
Will the board work with an older 5 V-only USB charger that lacks Power Delivery?
The module requires a PD-capable source; it supports PD 3.0/2.0 and BC 1.2, so a legacy 5 V-only charger without PD negotiation will not trigger the higher voltage outputs.
