RGBW LED strip for decorative lighting

The KEHIPI 5050 RGBW tape combines 150 RGB LEDs and 150 warm white LEDs on a five-metre reel. Each metre holds 60 LEDs that mix red, green, blue and a pure 2700K to 3000K white. The strip runs on DC12V and draws between 15 and 60 watts depending on the colours active. It suits bedroom accent lighting, shelf highlights or cove installations where colour changing and a dedicated warm white are wanted.

Check voltage, controller

Your power supply must deliver DC12V; a 60 watt unit is the minimum recommended. The strip uses a five-pin layout in the order +12V, G, R, B, W so the controller must match that pin sequence. Cutting is only possible between every three LEDs, so measure the run and plan the cuts accordingly. No power adapter or controller is included in the package.

IP30 indoor rating and 10 mm flexible PCB

The board is rated IP30, meaning it is not waterproof and should stay in dry indoor locations. A 120 degree viewing angle spreads light evenly across surfaces. The 10 mm wide flexible PCB bends around corners and fits standard aluminium profiles. Five-pin connectors on both ends allow strips to be linked in series, though voltage drop may appear on very long runs.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a power supply or controller separately?

The package contains the 5 m RGBW LED strip with 5-pin connectors on both ends; a DC12 V power supply and an RGBW controller are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the warm-white version over a cool-white option for this strip?

This strip uses warm-white LEDs at 2700–3000 K; a cool-white version at 6000–7000 K is a different product, so select this model only if you want warm white.

What does the 60 LEDs per metre figure mean once the strip is installed?

It provides 300 LEDs total (150 RGB + 150 warm white) along the 5 m reel, giving even colour mixing at a 120° viewing angle and a cut point every three LEDs.
