DC 9V-36V Input to 12V 5A Output
This KEHIPI boost-buck converter accepts a DC input range of 9V to 36V and delivers a fixed 12V output at up to 5A, providing 60W of continuous power. It is built for installers who need to run 12V equipment such as car audio, LCD televisions, LED display screens, solar power systems or monitoring alarms from a variable vehicle or battery supply. The aluminium shell is potted to an IP67 rating, making the unit waterproof, dust-proof, moisture-proof and shock-proof for outdoor, underground or mobile use.
Wiring and Mounting Notes
The module measures 2.24 by 1.54 by 0.87 inches and includes mounting ears with a 0.16-inch diameter for secure fixing. Connection must follow the supplied wiring instruction exactly; use short, thick input and output cables to minimise voltage drop and ensure full rated power. Do not parallel multiple output wires to a single load. Conversion efficiency exceeds 90 per cent, so heat is low, but the non-isolated design means input and output grounds are common and must be tied together.

Verify that your source voltage stays within the 9V to 36V window under all load conditions, including cranking dips or solar open-circuit peaks. Confirm the total connected load will not exceed 5A at 12V, leaving a margin for long-term stable operation as the manufacturer advises.
