The KEHIPI AU511 converts coaxial or Toslink digital PCM signals to analog stereo RCA and 3.5 mm outputs simultaneously. It handles sampling rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz at 24-bit depth. The unit is powered by a 5 V DC USB supply and includes an optical cable in the box.

Replaces a Missing Analog Output on Modern Gear

Many TVs, consoles and Blu-ray players now omit RCA or 3.5 mm sockets, offering only optical or coaxial digital audio. This converter bridges that gap when the source can be set to PCM or LPCM output. The jump is worthwhile only if your equipment allows you to disable Dolby, DTS or other multi-channel formats before the signal reaches the adapter.

Two-Channel Headroom and Limits

The device outputs uncompressed 2.1-channel PCM or LPCM audio with a maximum consumption of 0.5 W. It cannot decode 5.1-channel Dolby AC3 or similar bitstreams, so the source must downmix to stereo PCM. Volume is controlled at the source or amplifier; the converter itself has no level adjustment.
