  • 102 cm dual BNC 50 Ω 3.7 mm coaxial cable for oscilloscopes

Versatile BNC Test Kit

This kit supplies four BNC-terminated leads for connecting oscilloscopes, signal generators or video surveillance equipment. It includes alligator-clip, hook and stacking-banana leads each 90 cm long, plus a 102 cm dual BNC coaxial cable with 50 Ω impedance and 3.7 mm diameter. Colour-coded connectors simplify signal identification during bench work.

Labs, service shops and hobbyists

Engineers who need quick, secure connections to test points will find the 14 cm iron alligator clips with 9 mm opening and 15 cm pure-copper mini hooks with 5 mm extension practical. Builders requiring SMA, N-type or higher-frequency coaxial interfaces should select a different kit because this set only provides standard BNC terminations.

Plug-and-play bench setup

Each lead terminates in a fully-shielded welded BNC connector with gold-plated copper pins for reliable contact. The colour coding and keyed BNC bayonet make installation straightforward; the main risk is exceeding the 50 Ω cable rating or forcing the alligator clips beyond their 9 mm maximum opening.

Questions about this item

Do I need an oscilloscope or signal generator with standard BNC inputs to use these leads?

Yes, the kit connects to instruments that have standard BNC interfaces such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or video-surveillance equipment.

Will the 50 Ω dual BNC cable work correctly with older 50 Ω oscilloscope inputs?

The 102 cm dual BNC coaxial cable is specified at 50 Ω impedance, matching legacy 50 Ω scope inputs for proper signal integrity.

How can I verify the gold-plated pins are making good contact after I hook up the leads?

Check that the colour-coded BNC connectors seat firmly and that the 14 cm alligator clips open to 9 mm, the 15 cm mini hooks extend 5 mm, and the stacking leads sit flush on the test points.
