Car-Friendly Coiled Design

The KEHIPI coiled Lightning cable two-pack ships new and targets drivers who want a tidy centre console. Each six-foot cord retracts to 1.6 ft and stretches comfortably between 3 ft and 5 ft. The spring shape prevents tangles while keeping an iPhone within reach of the USB-A port.

Upgrade From Loose Straight Cables

A standard straight cable leaves slack that catches on gear-sticks and cup holders. Switching is worth it when the phone sits in a dashboard mount or a deep cubby and the extra length would otherwise drape across the controls. The coiled form eliminates that clutter without shortening the usable reach.

Plug-and-Play With MFi Assurance

Installation is a simple USB-A to Lightning connection; no drivers or adapters are required. The MFi badge guarantees the 480 Mbps data rate and 2.4 A charging ceiling. The only common snag is expecting the coil to extend to the full 6.5 ft — the comfortable stretch stops at 5 ft, so very distant ports may still need a straight lead.

Questions about this item

What USB port does the 6 ft coiled Lightning cable plug into for power?

The cable uses a USB-A connector that fits any standard USB-A port supplying up to 12 volts and 2 amps.

How do I route the coiled cable so it retracts cleanly in a car console?

Keep the coil’s relaxed length of 1.6 ft free of tight bends; stretching it to the comfortable 3 ft–5 ft range lets the spring return without kinking.

When should I replace the cable if I use it daily in the car?

The connector is rated for over 20000 bend cycles, so plan a replacement once the coiled section no longer springs back to its 1.6 ft stored length.
