A mechanical USB 3.0 switch lets two computers share two peripherals at 5 Gbps with plug-and-play operation across Windows, macOS and Linux
The KEHIPI HA-418-2 lets two computers share two USB devices such as keyboards, mice, printers or scanners. A mechanical selector switches the active PC instantly without software. It draws 5 V DC at 2 mA and fits on any desk at 2.56 x 2.32 x 0.63 in.
The switch maintains USB 3.0 signalling at 5 Gbps during continuous use, not just in short bursts. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ensures older peripherals keep working. The supplier notes that mass-storage devices are not recommended for this unit.
Each port uses a standard USB Type-A connector rated for the 3.0 specification. Cable length is capped at the included 3.3 ft (1 m) leads; longer runs may exceed the electrical budget of the 5 V supply. No driver installation is required on Windows, macOS or Linux.

The switch is a passive mechanical device drawing only 2 mA at 5 V DC, so it produces no fan noise and negligible heat during continuous use.
Each computer needs a free USB Type-A port; the box supplies two 3.3 ft USB 3.0 A-to-A cables for the upstream connections.
Yes, the switch is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices, so legacy keyboards, mice or printers share the two ports without extra adapters.
