Solar dummy camera with motion light

The KEHIPI HW1004 is a solar-powered outdoor light shaped like a PTZ dome camera. It carries a blinking red LED to mimic active recording and 77 white LEDs that deliver 500 lumens across up to 55 square metres. Motion detection triggers the floodlight at distances up to 7.6 metres with a 120° sensing angle. The unit charges by daylight and runs wirelessly through the night.

Suits deterrence-focused exteriors

Homeowners who want a visible security presence without wiring or recording infrastructure will find this a simple fit. It mounts in minutes on porches, gardens, patios or driveways and operates in temperatures from -10°C to 60°C. Buyers who need actual video capture, remote viewing or continuous illumination should look at powered camera systems instead.

5V 2W solar panel with 3.7V 2600mAh battery

The integrated photovoltaic cell feeds a lithium-ion pack that powers three selectable lighting modes. A full day of direct sun charges the pack for overnight operation; overcast weather or winter conditions extend the required charging time. The light auto-shuts off 15 to 20 seconds after motion ceases.

Questions about this item

Does the HW1004 need any wiring or external power source to operate?

No, it is a wireless solar-powered unit with a built-in 3.7V 2600mAh Li-ion battery that charges via the integrated 5V 2W solar panel.

Can the 120-degree motion sensor and 360-degree adjustable light head work with existing wired security cameras?

Yes, it operates independently as a motion-activated deterrent light; the 120-degree sensor triggers the 500 lumen LEDs at up to 7.6 metres without connecting to other systems.

How do I confirm the solar charging and motion activation are functioning correctly after mounting?

The unit includes a red blinking LED to mimic recording; after a full daytime charge, walk within 7.6 metres at night to verify the 77 LEDs illuminate for 15-20 seconds.
