Tests 120V AC outlets for seven wiring faults with LCD voltage display and auto-hold function
The KEHIPI KT301T is a handheld 3-prong receptacle wiring detector for 120V AC outlets. It combines a colour LCD display with bottom indicator lights to show real-time voltage and seven wiring conditions. The tool is built to CAT II 125V safety certification and includes a one-click GFCI test button. Auto hold captures results for outlets behind furniture or in tight corners.
Suitable for DIY safety checks, renovation inspections and routine verification of ground fault protection on 120V circuits. Not intended for industrial voltage levels, three-phase systems or outlets outside the North American 3-wire 120V format. Buyers who need circuit-breaker tracing or non-contact voltage detection should look at a different instrument.
Simply insert the tester into the receptacle; the LCD and LEDs display the wiring status immediately. Press and hold the button for two seconds to trip a GFCI breaker and confirm protection. The auto hold function freezes the reading so you can view it after removing the tool from hard-to-reach locations. Two AAA batteries are supplied for the display and hold features.

The tester fits North American 3-wire 120V receptacles, so a standard 3-prong 120V AC outlet is required.
Yes — it identifies seven wiring conditions including open ground, open neutral, missing live, live/ground reversed and live/neutral reversed on legacy wiring.
The LCD shows real-time voltage and a green/orange wiring status, bottom indicator lights illuminate, and holding the GFCI button for 2 seconds should trip a protected circuit.
