Two-computer USB 2.0 KVM switch

The KEHIPI U308Z lets two computers share four USB 2.0 peripherals through a single push-button switch. It ships with two USB A-to-A cables and requires no driver installation on Windows, macOS, Linux or Chrome OS. A front-panel LED shows which system is currently active. The unit draws power from the host ports and includes a micro-USB receptacle for an optional 5 V adapter when high-draw devices are connected.

Office workers who alternate between a work laptop and a personal desktop will appreciate the instant peripheral hand-off without unplugging cables. Home users sharing a printer, scanner, keyboard and mouse between two machines also benefit. Buyers who need to share peripherals across more than two computers, or who require USB 3.0 or 3.1 bandwidth for fast external storage, should look at a different switch. The device does not support automatic switching or hot-key commands.

Steady operation under continuous use

The switch maintains a stable connection while both computers remain powered on for extended periods. LED indication stays consistent and the push button retains its tactile response after repeated cycles. When high-power peripherals such as mechanical hard drives are attached, the optional 5 V micro-USB input prevents port brown-out and keeps all four ports enumerated. No active cooling is present, so the enclosure remains at ambient temperature during normal desktop workloads.
