Converts PoE to USB-C power and Gigabit Ethernet, delivering up to 5V/4A for Raspberry Pi 4 and other USB-C devices
The KEHIPI USB-C PoE Splitter Gigabit converts an IEEE 802.3at or 802.3af PoE signal into a 5V USB-C power output while passing through a Gigabit Ethernet data link. It targets Raspberry Pi 4 owners and other 5V USB-C device users who want to eliminate wall adapters and run both power and data over a single Ethernet cable from a PoE switch or injector. The package includes a barrel-to-USB-C adapter for broader device compatibility.
With an 802.3at source the splitter delivers up to 20W at 5V/4A continuously, while an 802.3af source limits output to 12.5W at 5V/2.5A. It operates reliably between 0°C and 40°C in humidity up to 90% non-condensing, making it suitable for always-on deployments such as clustered Pi nodes, IP cameras or routers. The unit carries FC, CE and RoHS emissions certifications and weighs 0.091 kg.
This splitter replaces the official Raspberry Pi PoE HAT when more than 2.5A is required, and it supersedes lower-current USB-C PoE splitters rated at 2.4A or 3A. It is not intended for devices that demand Quick Charge or Power Delivery negotiation, nor for 12V or higher-voltage USB-C equipment. Buyers needing more than 4A at 5V or a different output voltage should look elsewhere.
