The KEHIPI ZK-4KX is a step-up and step-down regulator module for hobbyists and engineers building adjustable bench supplies or battery chargers. It accepts an input range of 5.0-30V and delivers a continuously variable output from 0.5-30V at up to 4A. An integrated LCD shows voltage, current, power, capacity and elapsed time during operation.

Replaces fixed-voltage bricks

Unlike single-output wall adapters this module lets you dial the exact voltage and current limit a project needs, so one unit covers many prototypes. The jump is worth it when you test different battery chemistries, drive LED strings at precise currents or need a portable supply that runs from a wide range of DC sources. It is not for builders who require mains isolation or AC input.

Sustained-load behaviour

Natural convection handles 35W continuous; adding forced airflow raises the limit to 50W. The converter runs at 180KHZ with roughly 88% conversion efficiency and includes soft-start, though high-power loads at power-on may still trip protection.
