Product Purpose

The Kensington 60046 monitor stand is designed for office workers who need a stable platform for a single flat-panel display. It fits screens up to 21 inches and 35 lbs, raising the panel to a more comfortable viewing height while adding twin side shelves for small desktop items. The rubber feet and top surface keep the monitor from sliding during use.

Adjustment Limits

Height and shelf positions adjust within the stand’s built-in range to suit different users and desk layouts. The structure supports the stated 21 inch and 35 lb maximums, so larger or heavier panels cannot be used safely. No tilt, swivel or pivot functions are provided, limiting orientation changes to the monitor’s own base.

Deciding Specification

The 21 inch and 35 lb capacity is the single figure that determines whether this stand matches a given monitor. Buyers with screens exceeding either dimension or weight need a different support solution.

Questions about this item

Should I choose this stand for a 21-inch monitor or a smaller one?

This model supports flat panels up to 21 inches and 35 lbs, so it fits your 21-inch display and any smaller screen within that weight limit.

What does the 35 lb rating mean when the stand is on my desk?

It means the platform safely holds monitors weighing up to 35 lbs without bending, and the rubber feet keep the base from sliding during adjustments.

How does the height adjustment work and what does it change?

The column raises or lowers the monitor platform so you can set the screen at a comfortable viewing level, while twin side shelves move with it for accessory space.
