SmartFit modular platforms

The Kensington K60718USF provides three modular platforms that attach to the arm for different keyboarding surfaces. Use all three for a large mousing area or remove one to fit smaller desk surfaces. The easy colour-coded window lets you adjust the unit instantly to your unique SmartFit comfort colour. It is built for users who want a configurable tray that adapts to changing workspace layouts.

Adjustable arm with 360° rotation

The keyboard arm sits below the desk and adjusts six inches in height with a tilt range of +5° to -15°. It rotates 360 degrees on an 11-inch arm that runs along a 19-inch track suited to straight workstations. This range lets you maintain a neutral wrist posture during long typing sessions without repositioning the whole desk. The platform measures 30.5 inches wide by 10 inches high by 1 inch deep.

TAA-compliant upgrade for fixed trays

This unit replaces a fixed keyboard tray that cannot change height, tilt or lateral position. The jump is worth it when you share a workstation, switch between sitting and standing, or need a mousing surface that can be narrowed for compact desks. Buyers who need a platform wider than 30.5 inches or a track longer than 19 inches will not be served by this model.

Questions about this item

Does the platform generate any noise or heat when used continuously throughout the workday?

The Kensington K60718USF has no motor, fan or electronic components, so it produces no operational noise or heat during all-day use.

What desk mounting hardware must I already have to install the 19-inch track and 11-inch arm?

The unit clamps to a straight workstation surface; you need a desk edge thick enough to accept the supplied clamp and enough clearance for the 19-inch track.

Will the 360-degree rotation and 6-inch height range clear a fixed keyboard tray or monitor arm already mounted under my desk?

The arm swings 360 degrees and adjusts 6 inches in height with +5 to -15 degree tilt, so it can be positioned around most existing under-desk hardware.
