Compatible Surface power adapter

This 65 W AC adapter delivers 15 V at 4 A for Surface Book, Surface Laptop, Surface Pro and Surface Go models. The 5.9 ft DC cable allows flexible placement between the wall outlet and the device. A built-in USB 5 V port lets you charge a phone or accessory at the same time. Overcharge, overheat and short-circuit protections are integrated for safe operation.

Steady output under load

The unit maintains its rated 15 V 4 A output continuously while the connected Surface device draws full power. Voltage regulation stays within specification during extended charging sessions and while the system runs demanding workloads. No thermal throttling or voltage sag is observed during normal sustained use. The adapter is designed for continuous duty rather than short bursts.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The enclosure remains warm but not hot during typical charging of a Surface laptop or tablet. No audible fan or coil whine is present because the adapter uses passive cooling. Idle power draw is minimal when the USB port is not in use. The 65 W rating matches the maximum input requirement of the supported Surface models.
