Questions about this item

Does the 65W USB-C adapter include the AC power cord, or must I buy it separately?

The adapter has a fixed USB-C output cable and a standard IEC C7 inlet for the mains lead; a compatible AC cord is required but not included.

Should I choose this 65W model instead of a 45W charger for my Latitude 7450?

Yes — the 65W unit covers every 45W Dell USB-C system and adds headroom for faster charging on the 7450 and other 65W Latitude, XPS and Chromebook models listed.

What does the 20 V / 3.25 A output actually deliver when the Latitude 7450 is under load?

At 20 V the adapter supplies up to 65 W, so the 7450 can run at full performance and charge the battery simultaneously instead of throttling or draining while plugged in.
