Universal 9V AC Adapter with Eight Tips
This 9V AC adapter delivers up to 1A centre-positive output and accepts 100-240V AC input at 50-60Hz. It targets owners of Arduino UNO R3, Mega 2560, 1280, CCTV units, Elegoo and IEIK boards that require a 9V supply between 100mA and 1000mA. The 5.9 ft cable and eight interchangeable plugs cover barrel sizes 4.0×1.7 mm, 4.8×1.7 mm, 5.5×1.7 mm, 6.0×3.0 mm, 6.0×4.4 mm, 3.5×1.35 mm, 2.5×0.7 mm and an LED terminal connector.
Protection Features and Thermal Behaviour
Built-in short-circuit, over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature protection shut the unit down before components overheat. In normal use the adapter runs silently with no fan and draws only the power needed by the connected load up to the 1A limit. The wide 100-240V input range lets it operate on mains worldwide without a separate voltage selector.
Eight Tips Expand Device Compatibility
The bundled tip set adds 4.0×1.7 mm, 4.8×1.7 mm, 5.5×1.7 mm, 6.0×3.0 mm, 6.0×4.4 mm, 3.5×1.35 mm, 2.5×0.7 mm and an LED terminal connector so one brick can power many 9V centre-positive devices. It does not fit pedals, piano keyboards or any gear that uses a negative-tip barrel jack.

Questions about this item
How do I install the adapter and which polarity setting is the step people get wrong?
Plug the AC adapter into a 100-240V 50-60Hz outlet, select the tip that matches your device's jack, and ensure the centre pin is positive; the adapter only supports positive-centre polarity so devices requiring negative-tip will not work.
What maintenance or replacement will the adapter need later?
The cable and interchangeable tips are the wear items; inspect the 5.9 ft cord and the eight tip sizes — 4.0*1.7 mm, 4.8*1.7 mm, 5.5*1.7 mm, 6.0*3.0 mm, 6.0*4.4 mm, 3.5*1.35 mm, 2.5*0.7 mm and the LED terminal connector — for fraying or loose fit and replace if damaged.
What limit appears first under sustained use at full load?
The 1A (1000mA) output current limit is reached first; built-in protection will trigger for short circuit, over-current, over-voltage or over-temperature if the connected equipment draws more than 1A continuously.
