Questions about this item

How is the 6.8-inch capacitive touchscreen unit mounted in a double-DIN dashboard opening?

The 1/2 DIN chassis slides into a standard double-DIN cutout and is secured with the supplied brackets; the most common mistake is not tightening the side brackets evenly, which leaves the 14.33-inch wide front panel misaligned.

What maintenance will the 13-band graphic equalizer and digital time alignment settings need over time?

The 13-band EQ and digital time alignment are stored in non-volatile memory, so they only need readjustment if the vehicle battery is disconnected or the unit is reset to factory defaults.

At what point does the 6.8-inch WVGA display show its limit during extended high-brightness use?

The LED-backlit capacitive LCD maintains contrast during sustained operation; the first visible limit is gradual brightness reduction if the internal thermal protection engages after prolonged maximum-output use.
