Converts DisplayPort 1.2 output to HDMI 2.0 for 4K at 60 Hz or 2K at 120 Hz with 7.1 audio pass-through
This active cable converts a DisplayPort 1.2 source to an HDMI 2.0 display. It targets desktop users and gamers who need to connect a GPU or laptop to a monitor or TV with an HDMI input. The uni-directional design only carries signals from the DP source to the HDMI sink.
No driver installation is required for immediate signal transfer. The 6-foot braided cord with 28AWG copper core and 24K gold-plated plugs fits into tight spaces without locking latches. It frees up a DisplayPort output while occupying a single HDMI port on the display.
Supports 3840x2160 at 60Hz and 2560x1440 at 120Hz for high-refresh gaming or productivity. Also handles 1920x1080 at 120Hz and 4K at 30Hz. Audio passes through uncompressed in 7.1, 5.1 or 2-channel formats. It cannot drive a DisplayPort monitor from an HDMI source.

The active cable supports up to 3840×2160 at 60 Hz and 2560×1440 at 120 Hz without compression.
The one-piece aluminium alloy housing dissipates heat passively; the nylon-braided 28 AWG copper cable has no moving parts and runs silently.
A DisplayPort 1.2 output on the GPU or desktop and an HDMI 2.0 input on the monitor are required; the cable only carries DP→HDMI.
